Recognition :
Any University MUST be recognized by UGC.
Engineering programs should be approved by AICTE preferably.
As per Supreme Court verdict University can conduct Engineering program even without AICTE approval.
AICTE is not MUST for University as per judgement in Bharathidasan University v/s AICTE case.
D.Ed and B.Ed MUST be approved by NCTE.
D.Pharma and B.Pharma MUST be approved by PCI.
Recognized and Approved words are used here with same meaning.
Norms of most of Colleges / Universities :
B.A / B.Com / B.Sc / M.A / M.Com / M.Sc / BBA / MBA / BCA / MCA are yearly pattern courses.
Others are semester pattern courses.
There will be two semesters in every year.
Student has to register for every semester and write exams every semester.
Additional Fees :
Admission Fees / Registration Fees per year – Rs. 2000
Register before every 31st July and every 31st January.
Late Fees – Rs. 1500 (In case of admission or registration after 31 July and 31st January)
Exam fees : Rs. 2000 per exam.
Re-sitting Fee :
If you had not appeared in previous sem and you wish to re-appear now with current sem, if permitted by university,
and write exam of previous sem then re-sitting fees is Rs. 2,000 per sem.
Certificate Fee :
Final Marks-sheet Fee, Provisional Certificate Fee, Final Diploma or Degree Fee, Convocation Fees, Migration Certificate Fee, Character Certificate Fee, University Verification Fees, Transcript Fee, any other certificate fee : as applicable by University
Cheque Return Charges : In case of cheque bounce or return or transaction failure : Charges Rs. 500
