How to become Engineer

After 10+2 or HSC :

Study Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 10+2 or HSC
Prepare and write Engineering Entrance Exams
Select College or University as per your choice
Selection Criterion : your interest, future career plan, distance from home and travelling , hostel if required, finances and exam scores or Grades
Apply for B.Tech or B.E in Engineering according to your selection
In India B.tech or B.E is 4 years degree level program
After completing your Degree in Engineering
a. you can do job as Engineer or
b. you can further study and do M.Tech or M.E. You will get admission directly in second year.

After 10th or SSC :

Study Science and Maths in 10th or SSC
Prepare and write Diploma in Engineering or Polytechnic Entrance Exams (if required)
Select College or Polytechnic or University as per your choice
Selection Criterion : your interest, future career plan, distance from home and travelling , hostel if required, finances and exam scores or Grades
Apply for Diploma in Engineering according to your selection
In India Diploma in Engineering is 3 years Diploma Level course
After completing your Diploma in Engineering
a. you can do job as Junior Engineer or Trainee Engineer or
b. you can further study and do B.Tech or B.E. You will get admission directly in second year.

After Engineering Diploma :

Study Diploma in Engineering
Prepare and write Engineering Entrance Exams (If required)
Select College or University as per your choice
Selection Criterion : your interest, future career plan, distance from home and travelling , hostel if required, finances and exam scores or Grades
Apply for B.Tech or B.E in Engineering according to your selection
