DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Employment of civil engineers is projected to grow 8 percent from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations. This is expected because of development plan of government, where there will be construction and management of infrastructure like smart cities, highways, metro trains, sea link bridges, dams, airports etc.
सिविल इंजीनियरिंग में रोजगार, 2014 से 2024 तक, हर साल 8% या उससे जादा बढ़ेगा, जो औसतन दूसरे क्षेत्रों से जादा होगा. यह सरकार के विकास प्लान के कारण होगा जिसमे इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर निर्माण कार्यों पर जोर दिया गया है जैसे कि स्मार्ट सिटी, हाईवे, मेट्रो ट्रेन, सी लिंक ब्रिज, डैम, एअरपोर्ट आदि.

Diploma holders may also become Engineers or Managers by their experience and proven work records. Still, it is advised to go for higher education like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA (construction or project management). Working people can also do Higher Education. Many colleges help through week-end classes or vacation classes or on-line classes .
